GRE Reading Comprehension: Detailed Solutions to 325 Questions

Like all testable skills, for most people reading comprehension can be learned through practice. Given what is potentially at stake when one is taking a GRE, it makes no sense not to do some preparatory practice.
This book contains a set of 200 problems that allow the reader to build reading comprehension skills. A short essay is given and it is followed by a few questions related to the content. The subject matter of the essays covers everything from history to particle physics, yet it is not necessary to understand the topic in order to answer the questions. Each of the essay-question items is self contained and it is actually better if the reader "forgets" what they know and stays within the bounds of the essay when answering the questions.
If you are planning on taking the GRE reading comprehension exam and it has consequences for your future, then the time and effort you take in working through this book will be well spent.
