63: What is a global constant?

A global constant is a named constant available to all the functions in a program. Its value cannot be changed during the program execution.

120: How will you get the address of a variable?

The address of a variable can be obtained using ‘reference operator’(&). On declaring a variable, memory needed for that variable will be allocated with respect to its length. Address of memory is randomly assigned by the operating system at run time.
int p=989;
int q=&p; //address of p gets stored in q

209: What is an exception specification?

An exception specification enumerates a list of exceptions that a function can throw. A function can throw only exceptions of the types indicated by the exception specification or exceptions of any type derived from these types. If the function throws any other type of exception, function unexpected is called and the program terminates.

251: What is the purpose of the stream manipulator boolalpha?

It sets the output stream to display bool values as the strings "true" and "false".

273: Explain CGI.

CGI or Common Gateway Interface helps the scripts in the website communicate with the web servers. It is the standard for communication set by the NCSA which lets international gateways communicate efficiently with HTTP servers that contain information. CGI lets users run programs and scripts using a web browser instead of invoking websites or web pages. CGI programs or scripts can be written in C, C++, Python, Shell, PERL etc.
